ProPress Stainless is a complete system solution including pipe, valves and fittings from 1/2” to 4”. This product offering is available in two industrial grades of stainless – 304 and 316, and also includes specialty fittings for instrumentation and sealing elements to meet the needs of different applications.
The ProPress 316 stainless alloy is now NSF-61 approved, so it complies with the health requirements for contact with potable water. Developed to handle harsh environments and multiple chemicals, Viega's 316 stainless is a great solution for use in food preparation and laboratory equipment.
What makes the ProPress System the world’s most premier pressing system?
The Smart Connect feature. This feature (an orange dot on 304 Stainless and a green dot on 316 Stainless) identifies unpressed connections so they are not left behind during an installation. A pressed connection is pressed in front of, on top of, and behind the sealing element, making a gas- and water-tight seal. The Smart Connect feature is sealed during pressing.
