MANABLOC Water Distribution System
The Viega MANABLOC is the key piece of a unique plumbing system called a homerun system. Its design helps homeowners realize dramatic water and energy savings. Here’s how it works: both hot and cold water start at the block (a manifold system) then water flows through flexible ViegaPEX tubing to each fixture (e.g. showers, sinks, toilets) throughout the house. Other benefits of the system are more consistent temperature and pressure, less potential for leaks since the system requires fewer behind-the-wall fittings, and noisy “water hammer” sounds are greatly reduced.

ViegaPEX
Used in plumbing and radiant heating applications for more than 30 years, ViegaPEX products continue to gain acceptance throughout the United States. PEX systems are cleaner, safer and easier to install than traditional rigid piping systems. PEX is a short name for cross-linked polyethylene, which makes this product very durable under temperature extremes and resistant to chemical attack. Viega manufactures several types of PEX.
