The Beginning
Viega’s heritage of innovation and quality began in Germany in 1899. Founded by Franz-Anselm Viegener, Viega’s first product offering was a brass beer tap. By 1901, the company had evolved to begin manufacturing home plumbing products. But the North American story really began in 1999, when the family-owned Viega decided to offer a selection of products in the United States. 

New Products
With more than 16,000 products offered worldwide, all Viega systems are compatible with each other, making the contractor’s work fast, easy, environmentally friendly and safe. Viega innovation has created a new standard of quality in the Americas. Among notable Viega products include our flameless ProPress pipe joining systems, energy-efficient ProRadiant heating systems and our high-quality PureFlow plumbing systems which incorporate our flexible ViegaPEX tubing and our one-of-a-kind MANABLOC water distribution system.

New Opportunities
As the number of Viega products continues to grow, Viega continues to expand our extensively trained, highly specialized sales force. With 500 employees in North America, Viega remains truly committed to the vision and values of our founder, Franz-Anselm Viegener. Operating on strict principles of professional integrity and conduct, Viega’s sales team offers personalized customer support for wholesalers, contractors, engineers and architects. From basic product information to installation and support after the sale, customer satisfaction is the focus of everything Viega does.

Superior Training
Viega delivers not only high-quality products and service-oriented support staff but also the best education in the industry. Viega opened our North American Educational Facility in Nashua, NH in 2006, offering a comprehensive range of training courses from one-day to week-long programs. Dedicated to providing the best possible training opportunities, the Viega Educational Facility is one of the first manufacturers to offer continuing education credits. Also located on the campus of the Viega Educational Facility, the Technical Services Center houses our engineering staff for radiant design, fire sprinkler design and product and application support. Now all of the support personnel you need are located on one convenient campus.

The Future
After opening a distribution center in Reno, NV in 2007, Viega opened a Manufacturing and Distribution Facility in McPherson, KS in 2009. Viega also opened more distribution facilities, one in Atlanta, GA in 2010 and another in Harrisburg, PA in 2011. Utilizing multiple distribution centers will allow Viega to deliver our products faster than our competition. Organized, clean and staffed with the most knowledgeable employees, Viega has the recourses it takes to deliver on time.
